Mike Murphy
Mike Murphy, the Production Manager of GourmetBryggeriet, has since May 2007 been responsible for the production of Ølfabrikken’s products, and with his large commitment he is one of the main forces behind the development of new beers for Ølfabrikken.
As the name suggests Mike originates from Philadelphia, USA. Mike is autodidact as Brewer and he made his first home brew at the age of 19. Ever since he has been occupied with beer, and since 1999 he has worked as professional Brewer in four different countries in two continents: USA, Italy, Germany and at present in Denmark.
Claus Christensen
Since May 2007 Claus Christensen, Brewer at GourmetBryggeriet, has participated in the daily work of brewing Ølfabrikken’s products.
Claus is educated first as certified Lab Technician since as Bio Technician and has many years of experience from the laboratories of Tuborg and Carlsberg in Valby. Here he primarily worked with quality control including analysis and beer tastings. This experience is of course used to ensure the quality of Ølfabrikken’s beers.
Claus is furthermore a well known face in the Danish beer society. For several years he has been – and still is – an active participant in festivals and other beer related activities.
